A recognized leader in the legal community, Angie serves as an adjunct professor at Lewis and Clark Law School, where she teaches Family Mediation. She has also developed and led mediation training programs, including co-founding the Clackamas Collaborative Divorce organization. As a seasoned trainer in mediation and Collaborative Law, Angie has empowered countless professionals to approach family law with a collaborative and compassionate mindset.
Her dedication to advancing the field is evident in her leadership roles, including serving as President of the Oregon Association of Collaborative Professionals and the Clackamas County Bar Association. Angie’s ongoing commitment to education and innovation underscores her influence as a trailblazer in family law.
Outside of her professional life, Angie cherishes time with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys hiking, snow-skiing, and unwinding with a good book and a cup of coffee on her deck, embracing the balance between her personal passions and professional pursuits.
Meet Angela Russo
Angela (Angie's) approach emphasizes out-of-court solutions that she feels can positively impact families for generations but she is well prepared to advocate for her clients in court if necessary, ensuring their best interests are always represented. Having experienced the challenges of divorce herself, and as a child of divorce, Angie is dedicated to helping families reach amicable resolutions that minimize conflict and preserve essential relationships.
Angie brings a unique blend of education and experience to her work, allowing her to focus on the developmental needs of children while skillfully managing high-conflict situations. Her diverse professional background spans roles as a public school teacher and a District Attorney specializing in Domestic Violence, equipping her with the tools to navigate even the most complex family dynamics with empathy and precision.
