Legal Consulting During Divorce Mediation or Family Law Disputes

Often parties going through mediation want to meet with a lawyer to ensure they are fully informed on their legal rights so they can be confident the results they have reached in mediation are equitable. Align attorneys will provide limited services representation which means, they will meet with you for as much or as little as you need while you navigate the mediation process. Align recommends that a party meet with an attorney at the beginning of the mediation process to ensure a party fully understands his/her/their rights and then they have an attorney he/she/they can call if he/she/they need to ask an attorney for legal advice during the mediation process. Once parties reach a full agreement at the end of their mediation process, he/she/they can check with his/her/their attorney to ensure no issues have been missed and/or if any agreement needs to be adjusted. The Align attorney can draft the final judgment or review the final judgment the mediator has drafted.
